After years of intensely scouring DIY blogs, articles and websites and watching hours upon hours of youtube videos on how to properly use a table saw, miter saw and router (even though I don't own any of them - oh, come on! You do it too...I hope), I am finally in a place that I can take all those lessons and ideas and make them a reality.
We are moving into our new apartment on February 15, 2013 and can't wait! Even though the new place is a rental, I scored BIG time on awesome landlords, who have pretty much given me a green light to make the place "our own". What? Seriously? Like paint, pull up carpet, lay down new flooring, redo kitchen cabinets and counters and change out appliances and fixtures? YES, YES and YES. And with any luck, YOU will be with me the whole way.
My fiance, son and I moved here (Orlando) from New York and brought hardly anything with us. This new place will be a clean slate with no furniture. How often does that happen? So, can you start to feel that twitch of thrift store, hardware store, garage sale excitement? WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!
